Parisian producer Select is softly making his debut in the music industry with a facinating fisrt EP.
These two hovering electro tracks are taken from his upcoming album, Lost in Noise, scheduled for release in 2021. This home-made album offers indeniably unique sounds : Select used a modular synthesizer which he built himself and chose to favour field recording, of which he is a fan. As such, most of the drum sounds were ‘hand’ recorded. A true perfectionist, he worked tirelessly on this first album to delight his listeners with loads of ‘ear candies’. Like this first mesmerising EP, Lost in Noise feels like a little pretty cotton box, filled with a series of eleven electro treats, oscillating between Kiasmos’ soft house and Radiohead’s melancoly.
